About Scott Paul Davis, Esq.

Scott Paul DavisScott Paul Davis, Esq., received his B.S.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Florida, and his law degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Before founding The Davis Law Group, P.A. in 2001, Mr. Davis was a state prosecutor for the Office of the State Attorney for the Third Judicial Circuit of Florida where he served as the Dixie County Division Chief. Mr. Davis also worked at the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office where he served as a Felony Division Chief. Mr. Davis applies his significant trial experience in his day-to-day representation of his clients.

Mr. Davis has represented his family law clients in high-conflict custody cases, high asset divorce cases, and alimony cases.  He has represented his criminal defense clients in everything from homicides to drug cases, to DUI cases.

Mr. Davis is certified as a Family Law Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court. In addition, he is Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law by the Florida Bar. Mr. Davis is licensed to practice in Florida and the District of Columbia, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Davis is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Florida Bar Family Law and Criminal Law Sections, and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.  In addition, he is a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of Florida (Hillsborough Lodge Number 25), the Scottish Rite, and Egypt Shriners. Mr. Davis is the former president of the Civic Association of Port Tampa City, and the former vice chair of the Interbay Peninsula Partnership.

About Kendra R. Davis, Esq.

Kendra R. Davis, Esq.Kendra R. Davis, Esq. is a native of Tampa. She attended high school at Academy of the Holy Names in Tampa, received her B.A. in English from the University of South Florida, and her law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

Before becoming a shareholder at The Davis Law Group, P.A., Mrs. Davis was a member of two prominent Tampa law firms. In addition, Mrs. Davis has previously served as the Drug Division Chief and Misdemeanor Division Chief at the Hillsborough County Public Defender's Office, as well as staff counsel to the judiciary of the Second District Court of Appeal in Lakeland.

Mrs. Davis is certified as a Family Law Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court. In addition, she is Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law by the Florida Bar. Mrs. Davis is licensed to practice in Florida and Georgia, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mrs. Davis is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Florida Bar Family Law and Criminal Law Sections, Tampa Bay Inn of Court, and the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers.
